FAQ

1.  My unit does not get as cold as it did when I first got it.  Why?  

      Most units leave our shop getting to -25 or colder as a minimum.  The ambient temperature will affect how cold it gets.  Improper or failure to clean it will allow resin to build up on the thermistor and get false readings on the display.  It does not mean your unit is not getting to temperature, it just means you need to clean it more often.  If the temperature does not get to at a minimum of -15, then there is a problem and you should send it in for a quick repair.  Fill the pipe with isopropryl alcohol and let it soak for an hour.  Then, rinse and blow it out.  If it didn't help,then you need a repair.  The owner is responsible for shipping to and from on all repairs that are not warranty.  A warranty repair covers shipping back to you.  You pay to ship it to us, unless it is within the first 30 days of getting your pipe, then you will be responsible for shipping.  We will send you a shipping label if it is a warranty item within 30 days.

2.  What can I use to clean my rig?

     Isopropryl Alcohol is the only cleaning solution to use.  Some use 99%, 91% or 70%.  The stronger the better, but the others can be used as well.  It just may take a little more of the weaker one to clean it.

3.  Can I plug into a power strip?

     No!  These rigs draw a lot of power and most power strips cannot handle the power.  You can use a heavy duty extension cord or plug directly into the wall.

4.  I don't care for the color or the model I have, can I change it?

     Of course!  You can buy a chassis swap!  They run $110 with shipping included back to you.  We will print out a new model of your choice (Megabowl, Stealth or Nectar) for the single units or the Engine or XB1 for the double units.  We now only print in basic colors (black, blue, red, green or purple)  If you have a single unit, you can choose either of the 3 models in the color you want.  The double units cannot be switched between, only like and same.

5.  What do you with the old unit I send in for an upgrade?

     When we receive a unit back for an upgrade, we evaluate it.  Sometimes, if it is good condition, we will put it aside for those who cannot afford a brand new one at a discount.  Instead of swapping everything, we will give you a brand new upgraded unit.  Otherwise, we strip off everything and transfer it to the new pipe. We fully bench and stress test the unit before shipping like we do will all units.
